Chaplain School offers more than 15 advanced placement courses, and is located in New York City. It has lower school, middle school and upper school divisions. Its fine arts department offers classes in dance, drama, music and visual arts. The school provides extended day care and summer programs, community services and trips. Its life skills program addresses various themes, such as self-advocacy, conflict resolution, friendships and other relationships, decisionmaking in social situations and physical and emotional well-being. Its library provides various resources, such as books, magazines, encyclopedias and newspapers.
