Founded in 1896, Calhoun School is a progressive, independent, college preparatory school, and is located in New York City. It is a coeducational institution serving more than 650 students in up to grade 12. Calhoun School has lower, middle and upper school divisions. Its academic programs include English, social studies, mathematics, languages, science, fine arts, and health and physical education. The school s physical department offers a wide variety of instructional, recreational, intramural and interscholastic programs.
