The Griffin is an upscale cocktail lounge inspired by the Gilded Age of the late 19th century. It aims to recapture the splendors of a sophisticated night out by providing guests with impeccable service that evokes a sense of being transported through time. The Griffin plays host to an eclectic & worldly mix of celebrities, artists, designers, and well-heeled patrons looking for a dapper crowd, specialty drinks, dancing, & a decadent escape to a bygone era. What Is a Griffin? A griffin is a mythical creature with the wings of an eagle & the body of a lion. Historically, it has been a symbol of divine power, known for finding and guarding treasures of gold. The Griffin's opulent decor pays tribute to one of the one of the most iconic eras in America's history: the Industrial Revolution. A hybrid modern-day marriage of Steam Punk Age of Innocence salon, the result is an intimate jewel box filled with fringe-lined velvet banquets, gilded tables, rose-antique mirrors, & reclaimed herringbone floors. Filigree detailing accentuates the space, & a glittering centerpiece of crystal chandeliers hanging overhead sets the cinematic mood for the room. The Griffin was designed by Marc Dizon of the boutique collective Lewis & Dizon. Cocktail service begins at 7:30pm. Bottle service starts at 11pm when the lounge transforms into a night club. In addition to traditional bottle service & mixed drinks, The Griffin also offers specialty punch bowls, a chic alternative to bottles. |
