 Traditional American food, burgers, Philly cheese steaks, omelettes, skillets, melts. Local veteran has taken the helm of Dougie J’s Cafe. He acquired the cafe from the family of Douglas J. Green, a military hero who was killed in action in Afghanistan. Salazar also served our country from 1988 to 1993 in the US Army as a 91B Combat Medic. He was deployed to Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm/Restoration in Kuwait. As the owner of Dougie J’s Cafe, Salazar’s goal is to keep Douglas J. Green’s name alive in honor of all who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
