Seek Dental Care as Early As Age 1:
We strongly support the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry that a child's first visit to the dentist should occur at 12 months of age. During this exam and preliminary risk assessment, parents are informed about methods of promoting their child's oral health and understanding their child's dental development. This individualized session may include discussions on teething, thumb habits, pacifier, proper feeding and oral home care techniques.
