 Ruthe Deskin Elementary School educates students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides an educational environment that promotes student learning. It emphasizes thinking skills, basic skill instruction, creativity, practical application and cooperation among its students. The school has a library that offers a range of dictionaries, encyclopedias, maps, magazines, archives and education-related sites for additional resource to students. A part of the Clark County School District, Ruthe Deskin Elementary School employs a counselor who assists students in the process of growing physically, socially and educationally. It also maintains a parent advisory council. The elementary school is located in Las Vegas.
